Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Puree Profit LLC (“Puree Profit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.pureeprofit.com (the “Site”), apply to work with us, contact us, or use our services.
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at contact@pureeprofit.com.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you apply to work with us through the Apply form, we collect:
- your name, business name, and business email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
- your business's monthly recurring revenue range and your timeline;
- anything else you choose to tell us in the optional notes field; and
- whether you checked the optional box to receive text messages about your inquiry (see Section 6).
We also record the date and time of your submission. We need the required fields to review and respond to your application; if you would rather not use the form, you can email us instead.
If you email us, speak with us, or book a call, we collect the information you share, such as your contact details and information about your business. If you become a client, we also collect the information we need to provide our services and manage the engagement, such as billing contact details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, your browser automatically sends standard technical information to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, as part of loading each page. This includes your IP address, your browser and device information (known as the “user agent”), the web address you requested, and the date and time of the request. Cloudflare processes this information to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and maintain operational logs. This is ordinary server and network data; it is not collected through cookies.
In addition:
- Bot protection. When you open the Apply form, Cloudflare Turnstile processes your IP address and browser and device signals to tell people from bots.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you opt in to Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views, referring pages, browser and device type, and page performance.
- Your privacy choices. Your consent choices are saved in your browser's local storage so the Site can apply them. This record stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Section 4 explains these technologies and how to control them.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from the service providers we use, such as security information and, if you opt in to analytics, aggregated usage statistics from Cloudflare. We may also receive information from publicly available business sources, such as your company's website. If you are a client, we may also access accounts and platforms you authorize us to manage on your behalf.
Information we do not seek
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometric data, or information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or similar categories. Please do not send us this type of information through the Apply form, by email, or by text message.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- review and respond to your inquiry, decide whether we are a good fit, and schedule and conduct consultations;
- provide, manage, and improve our services and deliverables;
- send administrative messages, proposals, invoices, and service updates;
- send you text messages about your inquiry, if you opted in (see Section 6);
- send marketing communications about our services, where permitted by law and subject to your right to opt out at any time;
- understand how the Site is used so we can improve its content and performance, if you opt in to analytics;
- measure and improve the effectiveness of our own advertising, if you opt in to marketing technologies;
- deliver and secure the Site, detect and block bots and spam, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our rights;
- remember and honor your privacy choices; and
- comply with legal obligations, keep business records, and enforce our agreements.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If our bot protection prevents you from submitting the Apply form, email us at contact@pureeprofit.com instead.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Section 13 explains the legal bases we rely on for these uses.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who process information on our behalf to help us run the Site and our business, as described below.
- Client engagements. Where we act on a client's behalf, we handle information according to that client's instructions and our written agreement with them, and the client's own privacy policy applies to that information.
- Legal requirements. Where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Puree Profit, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset.
- With your direction. Where you ask us to share information or otherwise consent to the disclosure.
Our service providers
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and delivers the Site and provides our security services, bot protection on the Apply form (Cloudflare Turnstile), and analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, only if you opt in). Learn more in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google. We use Google Workspace, provided by Google LLC, for business email and to receive and store Apply form submissions. When you submit the form, it is sent over an encrypted connection to a Google Apps Script web app that we own, saved in a private Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account, and emailed to us at contact@pureeprofit.com. Because your browser sends the form directly to Google, Google also receives the standard technical information that comes with any web request, such as your IP address. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
- Other providers. Vendors who help us run our business and serve clients, such as scheduling, customer relationship management, and payment processing tools for client engagements; a messaging provider, if we send you text messages; and professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
Our service providers process personal information to provide services to us, under terms that limit how they may use it. Some may also use limited information for their own purposes as their terms allow; for example, Cloudflare uses Turnstile signals to improve its bot detection, as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Text message opt-in data and consent are excluded from the sharing described above; we share them only as described in Section 6.
4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
The Site itself does not set cookies. It saves your privacy choices in your browser's local storage, and it relies on technologies from Cloudflare to deliver and secure the Site and, with your consent, to measure how it is used. Our consent banner and “Your Privacy Choices” panel group these technologies into the following categories:
- Essential. Required for the Site to load, to remember your privacy choices, and to keep the Site secure. These are always active and cannot be switched off. They include the record of your choices, which is saved in your browser's local storage under the name “pep_consent” and stores your Analytics, Marketing, and “do not sell or share” preferences and when you set them; Cloudflare's handling of the request data described in Section 1; and Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs only on the Apply form and processes your IP address and browser and device signals to detect and block bots. We use Turnstile only to protect the form, not to track you or for advertising; learn more in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary security cookies if it needs to check that a visitor is not a bot.
- Analytics. Help us understand how the Site is used and how quickly its pages load so we can improve it. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other websites; it records page views, referring pages, browser and device type, and page performance measurements. It loads only after you opt in, and it stops if you later withdraw consent. Learn more in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Marketing. Let us measure and improve our own advertising. These load only after you opt in, and never while your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
When you first visit, nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs until you choose to allow it, and you can change your choices at any time through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page. You can also clear the Site's local storage through your browser settings; if you do, we will ask for your choices again. If we materially change how we use these technologies, we may ask you to choose again.
None of the technologies in the Essential or Analytics categories track you across other websites. We host the Site's fonts ourselves, and apart from Turnstile on the Apply form, the Site does not include third-party embeds such as videos, maps, or social media widgets.
Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising: the Marketing category stays off and your “do not sell or share” preference stays on, even if you previously opted in. GPC does not change your Analytics choice, which you can manage separately. Learn more about GPC.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to it, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
5. Email Communications
If you provide your email address, you may receive marketing emails from us about our services, where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing contact@pureeprofit.com, and we will honor your request promptly. You will continue to receive transactional and service-related messages, such as replies to your inquiry and messages about any active engagement.
6. Text Messages (SMS)
If you check the optional text message box on our Apply form, you agree to receive text messages from Puree Profit LLC at the number you provide about your inquiry, such as messages to schedule your consultation. The box is unchecked by default, and consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also email contact@pureeprofit.com for help or to opt out. Our full text messaging terms are in Section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
We use your mobile number and text message consent only to send you the messages you agreed to receive, to respond to you, and to keep a record of your consent and opt-out choices. We will not send you marketing or promotional text messages unless you separately agree to receive them.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, text message opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that help us deliver text messages to you, such as a messaging platform or wireless carriers, solely to provide the messaging service, or where required by law. Text message opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. How long we keep it depends on the type of information and why we have it:
- Applications and inquiries. We keep Apply form submissions and related correspondence while we review and respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the length of our relationship. If you do not become a client, we keep your inquiry only as long as reasonably needed to follow up with you and maintain accurate business records, and we delete it sooner if you ask, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
- Client records. We keep records of client engagements for the duration of the relationship and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Text message records. We keep your text message consent and opt-out choices as long as needed to send the messages you requested, honor your opt-out, and show that we respected your choices.
- Technical and analytics data. Request logs, Turnstile signals, and Web Analytics data are kept by Cloudflare under its data retention practices.
- Your privacy choices. Your consent record stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser's storage.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it. We keep de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access. Confirm whether we process your personal information, obtain a copy of it, and learn what categories of information we collect, where they come from, why we use them, and who we disclose them to.
- Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion. Request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Portability. Obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
- Opt out. Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for that kind of profiling.
- List of third parties. In some states, obtain a list of the specific third parties to which we have disclosed personal information.
- Withdraw consent. Withdraw any consent you have given us at any time, for example by updating “Your Privacy Choices” or replying STOP to our text messages.
- Non-discrimination. Exercise these rights without receiving discriminatory treatment. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.
Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have additional rights, described in Section 13.
How to exercise your rights. Email contact@pureeprofit.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” tell us which right you want to exercise, and include enough information for us to locate your records, such as your name and the email address you used with us. You can manage the optional technologies on the Site at any time through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer. We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.
Verification. To protect your information, we verify requests to access, correct, or delete personal information by matching the details you provide with the information we hold, and we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address associated with your records. We use information provided for verification only for that purpose. Requests to opt out do not require verification. If we cannot verify a request, we will tell you.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof that you gave them signed permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm that you authorized the agent, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing contact@pureeprofit.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond in writing with our decision and reasoning within the time frame required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.
9. Additional Information for U.S. State Residents
This section supplements this policy for residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, such as Colorado, Connecticut, Nebraska, Texas, and Virginia. Some of these laws apply only to businesses that meet certain thresholds, and some do not cover information about people acting in a business or employment role. We provide these disclosures for transparency, whether or not a particular law applies to us.
Categories of personal information
In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information below from the sources described in Section 1: directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from our service providers, and from publicly available business sources.
- Identifiers and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and IP address, along with your contact preferences, such as whether you agreed to receive text messages. We disclose this category for business purposes to our service providers, including Cloudflare and Google.
- Commercial and professional information, such as your business name, your business's monthly recurring revenue range, your timeline, other information you share about your business, and, if you become a client, records of the services you purchase. We disclose this category for business purposes to our service providers, including Google.
- Internet and other electronic network activity, such as browser and device information, the pages you request and when, Turnstile bot-protection signals, and, if you opt in, analytics about page views, referring pages, and page performance. We disclose this category for business purposes to our service providers, including Cloudflare and Google.
We may also disclose any of these categories to the other recipients described in Section 3, such as government authorities when required by law, a successor in a business transfer, or others at your direction.
Purposes and retention
We collect, use, and disclose each category for the business purposes described in Section 2, including responding to your inquiry, providing our services, communicating with you, operating and securing the Site, detecting bots and spam, understanding how the Site is used (with your consent), and meeting legal obligations. We keep each category for the periods described in Section 7.
No sale, sharing, or targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 4.
Sensitive personal information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (see Section 1). If we receive it, we do not use it to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use or disclose it for any purpose that would give rise to a right to limit its use under California law.
California “Shine the Light”
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:
- Encryption in transit. The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections using TLS 1.2 or higher, and requests to the unencrypted http:// address are redirected to HTTPS. Apply form submissions are sent to Google over an encrypted connection.
- Encryption at rest. Google encrypts the data we store in Google Workspace, including form submissions, at rest.
- Access controls. Form submissions are kept in a private Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account that only authorized members of our team can access.
- Security headers. A strict Content Security Policy and other security headers limit what the Site can load and help protect against attacks such as cross-site scripting and clickjacking.
- Bot and abuse protection. Cloudflare's network helps protect the Site from attacks, and the Apply form uses Cloudflare Turnstile and automated spam checks.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through the Site or by email.
12. Third-Party Sites
The Site links to websites we do not operate, such as our social media profiles. These are ordinary links; the Site does not embed social media plug-ins or feeds. When you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
13. Visitors Outside the United States
We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. The rest of this section applies if you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
Controller
Puree Profit LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at contact@pureeprofit.com.
Legal bases
- Consent. For Analytics and Marketing technologies (Section 4), text messages (Section 6), and marketing emails where the law requires consent. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
- Steps before entering into a contract, and performing a contract. For reviewing and responding to your Apply form inquiry and arranging a consultation at your request, and for providing our services if you become a client.
- Legitimate interests. For operating, delivering, and securing the Site (including Cloudflare's request logs and Turnstile bot protection on the Apply form), preventing spam and abuse, responding to general inquiries, sending business contacts information about our services where the law allows, keeping business records, and establishing or defending legal claims. We rely on these interests only where your rights and interests do not override them.
- Legal obligations. For tax, accounting, and other legal requirements, including keeping records of the consents you give us.
Your additional rights
In addition to the rights in Section 8, you have the right to restrict our processing of your personal information, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to our use of your information for direct marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred. You can find your local authority in the EEA on the European Data Protection Board's website; in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; and in Switzerland, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first, so please consider contacting us at contact@pureeprofit.com.
International transfers
When personal information is transferred from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States or other countries that have not been found to provide adequate protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for service providers certified under them, or the Standard Contractual Clauses in our service providers' data processing terms. Contact us for more information about these safeguards.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Site or by email where appropriate, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
